Went for a power walk down the back road past Desire etc. Took me longer than I expected as the road is rough and weaves back and forth but good to walk. 

Stayed by the pool as it was rainy and stormy. 

Ron  and I went and met ken and Kathy ..the people rob and deb stayed with. Had a good chat and they gave us some pointers 

We walked the beach for 2 hours which was great :)

Had dinner at home. Raining pretty hard so everyone stayed home but ron and I went to see the music festival ... to get out of the house. It was good 

I walked to the highway ...3 km each way. Really hot and humid !!

Ate breakfast..bacon and eggs yum!

Ron and I walked to the town to check out the Wed. market. There was none :(

Sat by the pool with Shirley for a while.

Went to the beach with our snorkel gear. Too windy and choppy :(

Ron and I did our usual beach walk then came home for a beer.

Ron BBQ burgers...delish!! 

Really windy so no Mosquitos ..yeah!!

Others went to bed early again. We stayed up and then watched Netflix until 11:30. 

Got up really early and went for a walk into town...didn't take long...lol

Came back had breakfast and sat by the pool for the morning.

Went to the beach 

Came home and rinsed off and dumped stuff. Walked along the beach for an hour. Went past the nudy all inclusive. Had to stop ron from taking pictures... Lol

Happy hour by the pool with margaritas. 

Dinner and then sat outside for a bit ...too many mosquitos 

Every one went to bed early 9:00. We weren't tired so we watched netflix in bed 

Left Sayulita at 4:00 am to go to the airport. Easy flight to Mexico City. Transferred to next flight to Cancun.

Taxi waiting for us to take us to the megastore then our place.

Place is nice.

Dave and hilary went back to the airport to pick up Shirley.

We had snacks and beer and all went to bed early ....around 9:00.

Everyone pooped :( 

Got up at 5:00 and went to Fajita banana to watch the gold medal men's hockey

The bar opened at. 6:00 for the crazy Canucks and the gold medal game.

They were only serving booze so people drinking before dawn made it really interesting....and of course they won !!

We came home for breakfast and relaxed by the pool.

Then went to the beach to catch up with the gang.

Had our last uber size margaritas at the beach bar. Stumbled home. 

Packed and relaxed.

Went back downtown for the final taco on the street.

Met the gang for a flan and watched horses and cowboys perform on the cobblestone street.

The town was alive with people dressed in their finery . And cars parked everywhere. Apparently tonight is a fiesta and celebration of cowboys and tomorrow is a holiday to celebrate the flag....maybe independence?? 

Lots of people and partying everywhere. 

Went for a walk in the morning to the other beach. 

Met the gang at the beach for boogie boarding 

Went to visit willhem and jope. Drank tumblers of tequila :)

Picked the closest restaurant and ate pizza.

Watched them roasting peppers on the street.

Met the gang for flan them headed home.

 

I did laundry and went shopping at the Friday market...arugula..yahoo!

Watched the last 2 periods of the hockey game Canada vs USA. Yahoo again !!

The rest of the gang went fishing and whale watching. Caught 4 fish :)

The gang came here for dinner..

Dave cooked the skip jack on the BBQ but it is usually used for sashimi 

Don Margaret and us decided we didn't want to spend the day with Tim and laura. One day was enough ...

We took the bus to rincon de guayabitos and la penita. We went to the Thurs market. Wow big and good. Didn't buy anything 

Walked into rincon and ate lunch while we watched the women's hockey gold medal game :) 

Walked the beach ...it is long with white fine sand and easy swimming 

and cabbed it home.

Don and Margaret came here for a beer to see our place.

Met the others at the beach... Tim and laura on their way home 

Went to Rollie's for paella. Excellent deal ...paella for 2, salads dessert and bottle of wine for $40.

Went to Hilary's for a marg and quick game of Triominos 

Laura and Tim came for a visit.

They were almost 3 hrs late with no messages to anyone. Dave not happy... Hilary still gushing

We went to the beach 

Ron and I went home as we had Tom and Susan coming for a visit 

We went back to Dave and Hilary's for dinner. Tim cranky and sleeping...Laura nattering nonsense :(

Then went to the carnival

On the way home we stopped for a marg at the place with the swings.

Went to zumba. Ran into susan and Tom friends of Corrie and Elbert. Walked to their place for a quick visit

Don Margaret and Dave went zip lining. We took hilary on our walk to the beaches by San Pancho.

Ate dinner at home...not Mexican :)

Breakfast at home then to the beach to meet the gang and laura and Tim were coming at 11:30. Don and Margaret came at about 1:00....Dave and hilary at home waiting. They didn't show up until after 2:00 

Came home as we had Susan and Tom here for a couple of hours in the afternoon. Had a very nice time with them... Lovely people

Had dinner at Dave and Hilary's

Took Tim and laura to the carnival

Had a drink and some flan before heading home
